Record bass caught at Dixon

25-pound, 1-ounce bass landed yesterday at Escondido's Dixon Lake, CA
If somehow approved by the International Game Fish Association, this catch would shatter the Joe DiMaggio-like “unbreakable” mark of bass fishing, the 22-pound, 4-ounce bass caught by George W. Perry at Montgomery Lake in Georgia in 1932. However lunker was snagged, rather than taking lure, so it may not go into books !

Wooooorld Re-cord !

Patrick Sebile, an IGFA representative from Nice, France, used a mullet to entice a 22.50 kg (49 lb 9 oz) Crevalle jack on April 27, 2004. He was fishing Rubane, Guinee-Bissau with Odile Cano. The fight lasted 30 minutes. The catch has been registered in the M-08 kg (16 lb) category.

Pat, could you please do better with an all tackle record ? Thank you

They really deserve the name "Magic" !

... anf for our english speaking Partners :

"I just tested the Acast Magic Swimmer. Yesterday, at the show, the swimming was OK but when you go out in the open, I can guarantee the result. It casts very well for a light jointed lure. The 2 types (10,5g and 21,5g) have a different behaviour in the water. The small one swims like a crazy bait under the water whereas the big one is more civilized.

They really deserve the name "Magic". It is great to see them swim underwater, it's simple and 100% realistic.

Can't wait till the Labrax are back."

A BIG THANK YOU TO DACOIS !
