Dozer Tips on MS Soft

The Magic Swimmer Soft 130 Pro Pack comes with three swimbaits, one perfect size hook plus six soft weights in a body-fitting carrying case.
First and foremost, always keep the swimbaits in the carrying case when not using them. The case is custom-fitted to keep the swimbait bodies straight and in the best possible shape.

How to Use the Soft Sinkers
The soft weights are made of a coated tungsten rubber compound, each weighing 1/32 oz apiece.
My two favorite weightings with the MS Soft 130 are to use either 2 (1/16 oz) or 4 (1/8 oz) soft sinkers on the hook shank.

My two favorite places to position the weights are either:

1. On the hook shank behind the nose, if I want to twitch it a lot as it noses down into cover. If you are going to be twitching it a lot with little twitches as it sinks, it has better-looking action with the soft weights pushed forward on the hook shank.
2. Backed down the shank, just before the hook starts to bend, if I want to swim it along.

Sebile wall at Goose Hummock

Thanks to Barry and Jordan Paullo (NE Sales Rep at Don Coffey Company) Cape Cod, Massachsetts, the Goose Hummock store in Cape Cod Massachussets now displays an entire SEBILE wall!

Goose Hummock is one of the most renowned store for stripped bass over there (established 1946)… they are very respected fishermen who only present the best of the best to their customers. Yet another step for our lures to be recognized on the stripped bass market!

Cocoricalicoooooo !

Calico Bass caught while fishing the kelps grass line nearby Catalina Island, California.

This one caught with a Magic Swimmer soft 130 bluegill color, rigged on a jig head, and bottom bouncing.

California weather was unusually cold and windy last week, which slowed down fishing in fresh and salt water, however the last day was pretty lots of bites from shoreline (calico bass, drop shot and casting Magic Swimmer hard and soft on standard weedless hook and jighead) to deep water (red bass and others various species caught while drop shoting Magic Swimmer soft up to 100m deep).

Have a great day!

California Dream

After bad weather in California for several days, finally some good time and fishing with Inside Sportfishing TV with Flatt Shad, even catching a 12lb carp and 8lb catfish!

Fish Maniac

Not a record or a big fish, but I'm pleased to share with you that I just reached this morning my 600th hundred fish species mark, with that vermillion snapper caught with a Magic Swimmer soft on a drop shot rig, close to Catalina Islands in California.

Now the next goal is 700!

Have a great day,
